Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Piran at 9 am and go on an excursion to discover the culture and history of Slovenia through its most traditional villages.

First of all, we'll travel to Socerb, which is only 30 minutes away. We'll discover the medieval charm of this town by visiting its castle, located on the highest part of Socerb. From here, we'll contemplate the views of the Gulf of Trieste and approach the Holy Cave, the only underground sanctuary in the country.

The next stop of the day will be Hrastovlje, where the Church of the Holy Trinity awaits us. This 12th century temple houses important Gothic frescoes, such as the Dance Macabre, and is surrounded by a protective wall.

Finally, we'll go to Marezige, a village surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. We will visit an olive oil farm and taste its typical products.
