Rosario Waterfall Hiking Tour

Natural pools and an exuberant landscape await us on this hiking tour to the Rosario Waterfall, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state of Goiás.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and head north to the hiking trail that leads into nature.

Upon arrival at the trail, we'll begin our hike of approximately 1.6 kilometres (0.99 miles) with a moderate difficulty, allowing us to explore the diverse flora and fauna in Goiás, known for its biodiversity.

We'll follow the path of stones to reach the Rosario Waterfall, one of the oldest waterfalls in Goiás, standing 42 metres (137 ft.) tall. After taking in the view and sound of the water, we'll proceed to the natural pool, where the waterfall's waters flow.

At this site, we'll pause for a short time to enjoy a refreshing dip. We will have a meal with the lunch you've brought. After eating, we'll continue exploring the surroundings of the waterfall for more hidden gems.

Eventually, we will return to the start of the trail and then head back to Pirenópolis, with an expected return time of around 6 hours.
