Vargem Grande Reserve Waterfalls Hike

On this hiking tour of the Vargem Grande Reserve waterfalls, we'll see the Santa Maria, Lázaro, and Véu de Noiva waterfalls in Goiás.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Pirenópolis and travel to the northern part of the city, home to the Vargem Grande Ecological Reserve.

We'll begin a 3.5-kilometre (2.17 miles) hiking route around the waterfalls in Vargem Grande. This lower-difficulty trail will reveal the landscape featuring stunning waterfalls.

Our first stop will be the Santa Maria Waterfall, where we will hear the water impact the rocks. We will continue to the Lázaro Waterfall, which flows into a natural pool for a refreshing dip.

Afterward, we will take a break for lunch, so please bring your picnic. Following the break, we will head towards the Véu de Noiva Waterfall and learn about its naming.

Finally, we will start our return walk, with our vehicle waiting to take us back to Pirenópolis. We expect to arrive approximately 5 hours after the initial pickup.
