Pisa Food Tour

At 11:30 am we will meet in Piazza Garibaldi, next to the Garibaldi statue, where our local guide will be waiting. This gastronomic expert will accompany us on a discovery of Pisa's culinary tradition.

We'll start by strolling through the streets of the historic centre, in search of the most traditional flavours of the local cuisine. We'll taste a platter of Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts with a glass of wine at one of the oldest wine shops in Pisa. We will also try a portion of cecina, a thin focaccia made with chickpea flour.

During the tour, we will discover restaurants known only to the locals, tasting typical dishes of Pisa's gastronomy such as Tuscan soup, mucco pisano, sausage with beans all'uccelletto, and the renowned ribollita, a traditional dish prepared with bread and vegetables.

Finally, we will enjoy some ice cream made with local and seasonal products, concluding this food experience.

After 3 hours and 30 minutes of broadening our culinary horizons, the tour will end.
