Meet at your scheduled time at the entrance to the Scottish & Southern Power Company in Pitlochry, then proceed to the banks of the River Tummel. A briefing will cover the use of the "bugs", a combination of a raft and an inflatable chair for navigating the river.

Using the river bugs, you'll sail down the Tummel under the guidance of an instructor, navigating rapids and avoiding rocks while enjoying the scenic rural landscapes of Scotland.

The experience will include both calm stretches and thrilling rapids—be prepared to hold on tight! If you fall off, swim to the riverbank to reboard.

After a two-hour session bugging on the River Tummel, you will return to dry land and be escorted back to the original meeting point.

Child participation is restricted as follows:

June to September: Adults and children aged 12 to 15 permitted Monday to Friday; only adults on Saturdays and Sundays.Rest of the year: Adults and children aged 12 to 15 permitted daily.
