River Bugging on the River Tummel in Pitlochry
Meet at your selected time at the entrance to the Scottish & Southern Power Company in Pitlochry, then proceed to the banks of the River Tummel. You will receive a briefing about using the "bugs", which are a combination of a raft and an inflatable chair designed for exploring river rapids.
While on the river bugs, you will sail down the Tummel, guided through rapids and around rocks. Experience the beauty of Scotland’s rural landscapes from this unique perspective.
The experience lasts for two hours, featuring both calm stretches of the river and exciting rapids. If you fall off, you can swim back to your bug!
After the river bugging adventure, you will return to dry land and be taken back to the meeting point.
