River Bugging in Pitlochry

Explore the Scottish countryside with river bugging in Pitlochry. Using a personal raft chair, participants will navigate the rapids of the River Tummel.

Meet at your chosen time at the entrance to the Scottish & Southern Power Company in Pitlochry. A briefing on using the "bugs", which are a combination of a raft and an inflatable chair, will be provided. Participants will then sail down the Tummel as the guide navigates the rapids and obstacles, offering a unique view of Scotland's rural landscapes.

The experience includes both calm stretches and exhilarating white water rapids. If you fall off, simply swim to the side and climb back on. The activity lasts two hours and concludes with a return to the original meeting point.

Children under 15

Children's participation is limited as follows:

June to September: Adults and children aged 12 to 15 can participate from Monday to Friday, while only adults are allowed on Saturdays and Sundays.Rest of the year: Adults and children aged 12 to 15 can participate every day.
