River Bugging on the River Tummel in Pitlochry

Meet at the entrance to the Scottish & Southern Power Company in Pitlochry at your scheduled time, then proceed to the banks of the River Tummel. A briefing on the use of the "bugs", a combination of a raft and an inflatable chair, will be provided.

Sitting on the river bugs, you will sail down the Tummel as the guide directs you through the rapids and around rocks, allowing you to experience Scotland's rural landscapes from an exciting perspective.

The river bugging experience includes both calm stretches and thrilling white water rapids. If you fall off, simply swim down the river to climb back on. The experience lasts for two hours, after which you will return to dry land and be taken back to the original meeting point.
