White Water Rafting on the River Tummel
Meet your guide at the scheduled time at the entrance to Scottish & Southern Energy in Pitlochry. On the banks of the River Tummel, our guide will explain basic rafting techniques, and after gathering equipment, we will put the theory into practice.
Follow the course of the river on our rafts, enjoying quiet stretches of water to admire the countryside. We will also encounter lively river rapids, requiring us to hold on tight.
We will navigate between rocks and around obstacles while descending a 16-foot (5 metre) waterfall. This experience will prepare us to face the Zig Zag and Shark's Tooth, the steepest rapids on the river!
After two hours of white water rafting, we will return to land and head back to the original departure point, concluding our activity.
