On this trip to Monfragüe, you will spend a day in nature and discover the species of birds in one of the most idyllic settings in Extremadura.

Monfragüe Tour

We will meet up at the scheduled location and time before heading to Monfragüe National Park to begin our tour of this wilderness.

After a 20-minute bus journey, we will arrive at this nature spot, known in the region. We will start a hike through the Mediterranean forest and the pasturelands of Cáceres, which are protected as a biosphere reserve.

During the tour of approximately 4 hours, you will witness the beautiful valley formed by the rivers Tiétar and Tajo. You will also see various species of birds of prey gliding through the skies above Monfragüe. This walk offers an opportunity to enjoy one of Europe´s ecological treasures.

Here, it is possible to see black swans, Egyptian vultures, black vultures, peregrine falcons, and imperial eagles using the optical equipment provided. At the end of the trip, we will take you back to the center of Plasencia.
