On this trip to Monfragüe, you will spend a day in nature and discover the species of birds in one of the most idyllic settings in Extremadura.
Monfragüe Tour
We will meet at the scheduled location and time before heading to Monfragüe National Park to begin our tour of this wilderness.
After a 20-minute bus journey, we will arrive at this nature spot, known in the region. There we will start a hike through the Mediterranean forest and pasturelands of Cáceres, which are conserved and protected as a biosphere reserve.
During the tour of approximately 4 hours, you will witness the valley formed by the rivers Tiétar and Tajo. You will also see various species of birds of prey that glide through the skies above Monfragüe. This walk through one of Europe's ecological treasures is enjoyable for all.
It is possible to see black swans, Egyptian vultures, black vultures, peregrine falcons, and imperial eagles with the optical equipment we provide. At the end of the trip, we will take you back to the center of Plasencia.
