We will meet at the scheduled location and time before heading to Monfragüe National Park to begin our tour of this wilderness.

After a 20-minute bus journey, we will arrive at this nature spot, one of the best-known corners of the region. There we will start a hike through the Mediterranean forest and the pasturelands of Cáceres, which are conserved as a biosphere reserve. The landscapes will be striking.

During the approximately 4-hour tour, you will witness the valley formed by the Tiétar and Tajo rivers and see various species of birds of prey gliding through the skies above Monfragüe. Whether you are a bird watching enthusiast or not, you will likely enjoy this walk through one of Europe’s ecological treasures.

Here, it is possible to see black swans, egyptian vultures, black vultures, peregrine falcons, and imperial eagles with the optical equipment provided. At the end of the trip, we will return you to the center of Plasencia.
