In this advanced scuba diving activity, we'll enjoy an exciting dive with bull sharks in Playa del Carmen, an unparalleled experience for seasoned divers.

Advanced Diving with Bull Sharks

We'll meet at the dive center located at 10 Norte Avenue and 2 Norte Street in Playa del Carmen. Here, we'll dress in wetsuits and collect the diving equipment.

Once prepared, we'll walk to the pier of Playa del Carmen to board a speedboat. This boat will take us across the Caribbean Sea to an ideal diving location. The underwater experience will be unique.

From the speedboat, we'll enter the water and begin our diving activity with bull sharks. From November to the end of February, female bull sharks come to the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean to give birth.

We'll enjoy a first dive for 30 minutes at a depth of 24 meters (80 feet) to see bull sharks. Afterwards, we'll return to the boat and sail to another dive site for a second dive, which is shorter and will showcase a magnificent coral reef.

After the dives, we'll return to Playa del Carmen. Once we disembark at the pier, we'll head back to the dive center, arriving three hours after our departure.

Important to Note

To participate in this activity, it is necessary to have the international Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or similar, which certifies the ability to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
