Dolphin Watching in Puerto Rawson

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet on Marcelino González Avenue, opposite the Puerto Rawson Prefecture. From this pier, we'll take a trip in a semi-rigid boat to try to spot the local wildlife.

We'll begin the trip by going along the mouth of the Chubut River. In this area, under favorable weather conditions, we'll see sea lions and various Atlantic birds such as seagulls and albatrosses, while admiring the yellow fleet of Puerto Rawson.

Next, we'll enter the Atlantic Ocean to watch the Patagonian dolphins, known for their distinct whitish-black color. During the cruise, interesting facts about these mammals will also be shared.

After about an hour and 15 minutes of sailing, we'll conclude the boat ride by returning to the dock of Puerto Rawson.

What is The Boat Like?

It's a semi-rigid boat measuring 12.75 m (41.8 ft) in length and 4.5 m (14.7 ft) in beam, powered by two 250 horsepower engines. It has a capacity for 57 people, including the crew.
