Tour Details
We will gather at the entrance of the Plitvice Lakes National Park at the scheduled time. Upon arrival, our remarkable journey through this "water wonderland" will commence. Curious about the origin of this name? Join us to discover the answer!
Your adventure will begin with a shuttle bus or train ride to one of the park's highest viewpoints. Here, prepare to take in the breathtaking vistas that encompass 30,000 hectares, showcasing the majestic 16 lakes, along with numerous streams and waterfalls.
After capturing some memorable photos, we will start our descent towards the lakes. The hike, spanning approximately 4 to 8 kilometers (2.5 to 4.97 miles), will reveal the shifting hues of the lakes throughout the day, changing from emerald to turquoise. Be sure to keep an eye out for the park's tallest waterfall, which plunges an impressive 76 meters (249 feet)!
The trek will initially guide us through the lower lakes, where the four principal lakes are located. Once we explore this segment of the park, we will proceed to the upper lakes. You’ll be astonished to learn that these lakes are scientifically significant due to their unique biodynamic ecosystems!
Our hiking journey will culminate at the port, where we'll embark on a 15-minute boat ride. This scenic experience will present you with a picturesque view of the magnificent waterfall and the surrounding lush trees.
After the boat ride, our exploration of the Plitvice Lakes National Park will conclude, wrapping up a total of 4 hours filled with natural wonders.
