Tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park

If you love nature, you can't miss this tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the biggest in Croatia. You'll get to know its 16 lakes with crystal-clear water and waterfalls!

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Once we've arrived, we'll begin this trip around "water paradise".

We'll first hop on a shuttle bus or train to one of the highest points in the park. Here, we'll enjoy scenic views of the 30,000 hectares that comprise this park, including 16 lakes and numerous streams and waterfalls.

After taking some essential keepsake photos, we'll begin our descent towards the lakes. During our approximately 4 to 8-kilometre (2.5 to 4.97-mile) hike, we'll observe how the lakes' colors transform throughout the day, from emerald to turquoise. Keep an eye out for the biggest waterfall in the park, with a 76-metre (250-foot) drop!

The hike will first take us to the lower lakes, where you'll find the four main lakes. After visiting this area, we'll head to the upper lakes, known for their scientifically significant biodynamic ecosystem.

Our hike will conclude when we reach the port, where we'll board a boat for a 15-minute ride, enjoying the scenic views of the waterfall and surrounding trees.

Once the boat ride concludes, so will our tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, lasting a total of 4 hours.
