On this excursion to Vaca Muerta, we will visit a significant oil field in Argentina and see the vineyards of Neuquén.

Vaca Muerta Tour

Pickup will be at your hotel at 9 am to begin a sightseeing tour of Neuquén, the province's capital.

We will then proceed to the Vaca Muerta oil field, located on the Patagonian plateau in Neuquén and southern Mendoza. A tour will be conducted to explore this geological formation where oil and gas are extracted, and you will observe its operations. Note that this location has been the subject of controversy due to extraction activities.

Following the visit to Vaca Muerta, we will pass through the vineyards of Neuquén, known for its young wineries supporting wine tourism. You will see renowned vineyards in Patagonia, and if desired, we will stop at one to allow for independent lunch at their restaurant.

We will then continue the return journey to Neuquén, concluding the tour at your hotel by 4 pm.
