During this excursion, we will explore Vaca Muerta, known as one of Argentina's premier oil fields, while also appreciating the renowned vineyards of Neuquén.

Vaca Muerta Adventure

Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel at 9 am, as we embark on a sightseeing adventure through Neuquén, the capital city of its province.

Next, we will travel to the Vaca Muerta oil field, which spans a section of the Patagonian plateau within the Neuquén region as well as the south of Mendoza. Here, you will have the opportunity to tour this significant geological area that is the source of oil and gas extraction, gaining insight into its operational processes. This site has sparked considerable debate regarding its extraction activities.

Following our exploration of Vaca Muerta, we will traverse the vineyards of Neuquén, notable for their emerging wineries that enhance the area's wine tourism. You will witness some of the most celebrated vineyards in Patagonia and, if you like, we can pause at one to enjoy a leisurely lunch at their restaurant.

Our journey will then resume as we make our way back to Neuquén, concluding the tour at your hotel by 4 pm.
