On the day of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Podgorica for an hour-long bus journey to the Ostrog Monastery. The route through the Danilovgrad Valley offers views of the Montenegro countryside.

The Ostrog Monastery is situated on the Ostroška Greda, a giant rock, providing exceptional views of the valley. This historic pilgrimage center, significant in the Balkans, is embedded in a nearly vertical rock face. Upon arrival, you will admire the natural landscapes and the size of Ostrog Monastery. Your guide will share the history of the site, including interesting facts. You’ll learn about the blankets around the monastery and visit the fountain whose water is believed to have healing properties.

After exploring the monastery, you will return to the bus for the journey back to Podgorica, stopping in Tunjevo to experience the authentic spirit of the Balkans with its traditional colorful houses.
