Make the most of your time in Podgorica exploring the beautiful Zeta Plain: discover Lake Skadar, travel back in time in Barutana and indulge in a tasting at a local winery.

Zeta Plain Wine Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel at 10 am and begin your tour of the Zeta Plain. This area stretches from the Montenegrin capital in the north to Lake Skadar in the south.

After a 20-minute drive, you will arrive at the Lake Skadar National Park, a biodiverse reserve with 281 bird species and 50 mammal types. From the Pavlova Strana viewpoint, you will enjoy views of the fjord-like scenery.

This region is also known for producing the country's best wine. You will visit the Sofranac Winery to learn about the production of brandy and liqueurs in the area. During this visit, you can taste 6 types of wine, 9 types of liquor, and 6 types of brandy, along with a typical Montenegrin lunch called meza.

Following the winery visit, you will proceed to Barutana to see the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of the First and Second World Wars. You will return to Podgorica, where you will have half an hour to explore the town's historic streets. At 2 pm, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Podgorica.
