We'll pick you up from your hotel or cruise terminal in Pointe-à-Pitre to kick off our private tour of Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean.

This overseas French region comprises an archipelago of 7 islands. Starting from Pointe-à-Pitre, the local capital, we'll tour Basse-Terre as we sightsee through the two main islands of Guadeloupe.

Our first stop is Petit-Bourg, where you can view the cascade aux Écrevisses, or Crayfish Waterfall. You can choose between visiting Deshaies, with its Botanical Garden, or the Zoo de Mamelles.

Next, we'll head to Pointe-Noire to visit the Maison du Cacao and learn about chocolate making. We will then head to northern Basse-Terre for views of Pearl Beach.

We will continue to Sainte-Rose to visit an ecomuseum of Creole Art and then move toward Grande-Terre for panoramic views of the villages, particularly of the port city, Saint-François.

After 6 hours of touring the archipelago from end to end, we'll return to Pointe-à-Pitre.
