Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll set sail south from Combarro Marina. The 15-minute journey includes an introduction to the features of our destination, followed by disembarkation at Tambo Pier, an uninhabited island known for its environmental heritage.
Once we arrive at the pier, we'll embark on a walking tour of Tambo Island. This 3-hour tour offers stunning views of Area da Illa Beach and A Dreidá Beach, characterized by fine white sand and the deep blue Atlantic Ocean.
During the tour, we'll visit notable sites such as the San Miguel Hermitage, the Tenlo Lighthouse, and the remains of an ancient lazaretto. You’ll also see the iconic Pedra da Parabé and learn about its significance.
We will conclude our activity with a return sail from Tambo Pier to Cambarro Marina, arriving at 2 pm.
Guided Tour of Tambo Island
From May 1 to September 1, the ferry ticket includes a guided tour of Tambo Island. Note that this tour is not available during Easter, specifically from the Friday before Easter until Easter Sunday.
