Description
At the scheduled time, we'll begin this private of Poitiers at the entrance to the Norte-Dame la Grande Church. After admiring the church, we'll enter Poitier's historic centre. During the tour, we'll discover stories related to the templars, Joan of Arc, and other significant figures in medieval France.
We'll stop at iconic locations such as Place du Maréchal-Leclerc to see the façade of the Poitiers City Hall. The tour continues in front of St. Peter's Cathedral, where we'll observe the main architectural details typical of Angevin Gothic style.
As we stroll through the old town, we'll learn about the first University of Poitiers and key events in Poitier's history. Finally, after a 1.5-hour tour, we'll conclude in front of the Church of Sainte-Radegonde.
