Annapurna Base Camp Trek: 6 Days from Pokhara

Day 1: Pokhara - Siwai - Chhomrong

On the first day, pick up from your hotel in Pokhara will precede a drive to Siwai village to begin the trek. After approximately a two-hour drive, we will commence our trek towards Chhomrong, the first destination where we will spend the first night.

Day 2: Chhomrong - Sinuwa - Himalaya

On the second day, we will enjoy mountain views and, after breakfast, trek up stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola River. After crossing a suspension bridge, we will ascend to Sinuwa for a rest before continuing through a forest towards Himalaya.

Day 3: Himalaya - Machapuchare - Annapurna

This day involves visiting two mountaineering base camps. The day starts with a four-hour hike to Machapuchare base camp at 3700 meters for views of Machapuchare, Gangapurna, and the Annapurna massif, followed by the trek to Annapurna base camp at 4130 meters, the highest point of the route.

Day 4: Annapurna - Sinuwa

We will wake up at Annapurna base camp, enjoy breakfast with panoramic views of Annapurna’s south face, and then trek back to Sinuwa, passing through yak farms and forests.

Day 5: Sinuwa - Siwai - Pokhara

On the fifth day, we will retrace our steps to Chhomrong, visiting the Jhinu Danda hot springs for a rest and dip before continuing to Siwai, where a bus will take us back to Pokhara.

Day 6: Pokhara - Katmandú

Pick up from your hotel in Pokhara will lead to a drive to Kathmandu, taking approximately six to eight hours.
