Mt. Vesuvius Hike

After picking you up from your hotel at the designated time, we'll head to the Vesuvius National Park. This 1-hour 30-minute hike will take us to see the landscapes of Vesuvius as we climb 167 meters to reach the top, offering panoramic views of Monte Somma.

During the hike, we'll observe solidified lava flows and learn about the integration of flora in this landscape, which also features vineyards. Furthermore, we will discuss the significance of winemaking in the region and explore facts about the eruption in 79 AD that buried Herculaneum and Pompeii.

Our route will lead us to 'La Capannuccia', where we can see the volcanic cone emitting gas and enjoy views of the Gulf of Naples. Afterward, we will descend and return to the minibus, which will take us to an establishment for a tasting of local products. The total duration of this activity is 3.5 hours.
