Don't know what to do in Pompeii? Visiting Mount Vesuvius is essential to fully understand the history of this city. Discover this volcano and its incredible landscapes on a hike that will take you up to 1167 meters high.

Mt. Vesuvius Hike

After hotel pickup at the designated time, we'll travel by minibus to Vesuvius National Park to start the hiking tour.

The 1-hour 30-minute hike will take us to see the landscapes of Vesuvius, climbing 167 meters to reach the top. The effort will be rewarded with panoramic views of Monte Somma.

Along the hike, we will observe solidified lava flows and discover how flora has integrated into this landscape. Vesuvius is known for its vineyards, and we will learn about the importance of winemaking in the area and other historical facts.

We will also discuss the 79 AD eruption that buried Herculaneum and Pompeii. Our path will lead us to 'La Capannuccia,' where we can see the volcanic cone emitting gas and enjoy views of the Gulf of Naples.

Afterward, we will begin our descent and return to the minibus, which will take us to a local establishment for a tasting of local products, concluding the activity back at your hotel after a total of 3.5 hours.

If you select the option from Castellammare di Stabia, pickup will take place from your accommodation at 1 pm.If you select the option from Pompeii, pickup will be at 1:15 pm.
