Pompeii, Amalfi + Ravello Day Trip

Discover the archaeological site of Pompeii and the picturesque towns of Amalfi and Ravello on this day trip around Campania!

Description

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time on Via Roma, before beginning this day trip to three iconic sites on the Amalfi Coast.

Our first stop will be at Pompeii, an ancient Roman city declared a World Heritage Site, which was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. With an audio guide in English, we'll learn about the events of that tragic day.

During our visit, you will explore the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, the Domus, the Theatre, the Baths, the Forum, as well as frescoes and mosaics. Key sites include the House of the Faun, House of the Tragic Poet, and the Lupanar.

After Pompeii, we will head to Amalfi, where you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore its streets, visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew the Apostle, and enjoy the local lemon and ceramic shops.

Finally, we will visit Ravello for 40 minutes to take in views from Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone.

We will return to the starting point in Pompeii, concluding this day trip after a total of 7 hours.
