Pompeii, Amalfi + Ravello Day Trip

Discover the archaeological site of Pompeii and the picturesque towns of Amalfi and Ravello on this day trip around Campania!

Description

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time on Via Roma, before beginning this day trip to three of the most iconic sites on the Amalfi Coast.

Our first stop will be at Pompeii, an ancient Roman city declared a World Heritage Site, which was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. An audio guide in English will provide information about the events of that day.

During our visit, you'll explore the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, the Domus, the Theatre, the Baths, the Forum, and the frescoes and mosaics. Important sites include the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet, and the Lupanar.

After Pompeii, we will proceed to Amalfi, where you will have 2 hours of free time to explore its streets, visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew the Apostle, and enjoy the local shops and harbor views.

Our final destination is Ravello, allotted with 40 minutes of free time to enjoy the views from Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone.

The trip concludes after 7 hours, returning to the starting point in Pompeii.
