Pompeii Tour + Horseback Ride with Wine Tasting

Description

We'll meet near the entrance of the Pompeii Archeological Park to begin our guided tour. For the next 2 hours, we'll explore the remains of this ancient Roman city, destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

After the tour of Pompeii, we'll take a minibus for a 25-minute ride to an Equestrian Center on the slopes of Vesuvius. There, we will have a brief introduction before starting our horseback ride.

Once comfortable with our horses, we'll embark on a riding tour along volcanic slopes, at an altitude of between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. This hour-long ride will offer impressive panoramic views and a beautiful volcanic landscape.

After the horseback adventure, we'll board the minibus and travel to a winery in Vesuvius National Park. A delicious lunch awaits, paired with a tasting of five wines. The meal includes a starter of cold meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables, and Neapolitan cake; a main course of pasta allo scarpariello or meatballs with sauce; and Neapolitan pastiera for dessert.

Finally, satisfied, we'll return to the meeting point after a total of 7 hours.
