At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza Esedra to begin this wine experience focusing on the world of wine in ancient Rome.

We'll start by driving through the picturesque vineyards around Pompeii, learning about the types of grapes and winemaking processes of the Campania region.

The excursion continues with a guided tour of a winery, exploring Roman wine-making techniques using amphorae as done in ancient Pompeii. You will witness the expertise local winegrowers apply in the process.

We'll see a well-preserved wine storage and refining chamber, furnished with barrels and amphorae, providing insight into historic wine storage and refinement.

Next, we'll proceed to the winery's dining room for a tasting of red, white, and sparkling wines. Afterwards, we'll have lunch or dinner, depending on your selected time, accompanied by exceptional local wines paired with dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.

After lunch, we'll return to Pompeii station, concluding the experience after 2.5 hours.
