Buggy Tour

When making your booking, you can choose between two routes:

Half-day tour (4 hours)

Meeting at Rua Eng Alberto Rodrigues, we'll depart from Ponta Delgada and transition to buggies heading northwest. We will explore the green inland countryside and arrive at the crater of the Sete Cidades volcano, viewing the blue and green lagoons. We will stop at several viewpoints for photos before returning to the meeting point.

Full-day tour (8 hours)

This tour is similar to the half-day option. After visiting the crater and the northeastern lagoons, we will head to Baia do Silêncio for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will visit the Vista do Rei viewpoint and then proceed to Laguna de Santiago and Cerrado das Freiras Viewpoint, concluding back in Ponta Delgada.

Important Information

To drive the buggy, you must have a valid driving license to present to the guide. Driving is not compulsory.You can join the tour as a passenger without a license; the price is per person and the same for both drivers and passengers.Participants wishing to drive must sign a liability statement before starting.A deposit of 500EUR per vehicle is required, refundable 72 hours post-tour.
