When booking, you can select between two available routes:

Half-day tour (4 hours)

We will gather at Rua Eng Alberto Rodrigues. Departing from Ponta Delgada, the capital of Sao Miguel, we will board our buggies and proceed northwest across the lush inland countryside. Our journey will lead us to the Sete Cidades volcano crater, offering stunning views of the blue and green lagoons—recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal.

Throughout the tour, we will pause at various viewpoints to take in the breathtaking lagoon scenery. After enjoying the impressive panoramic views, we will return to the meeting point in our buggies.

Full-day tour (8 hours)

The first segment of this tour mirrors the half-day option. After exploring the crater and the northeastern lagoons of Sao Miguel, we will head to the Baia do Silêncio bay, where we will take a break for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

Following lunch, we will proceed to the Vista do Rei viewpoint, known for some of the most breathtaking vistas of the lagoons and their surroundings. Finally, we will visit the Laguna de Santiago and the Cerrado das Freiras Viewpoint before concluding our tour where we started in Ponta Delgada.

Important Information

To operate the buggy, a valid driving license is required, which must be presented to the guide on the tour day. Driving the buggy is not mandatory.If you lack a driving license or prefer not to drive, you can participate as a passenger. The price is per person and is the same for both drivers and passengers.Participants wishing to drive must sign a liability statement before the activity begins.A deposit of 500 EUR per vehicle will be required by credit card, which will be returned 72 hours after the tour completion.
