Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and get on a jeep to drive to the coastal town of Vila Franca do Campo. This village is well-known for the volcanic islet visible from its port.

We'll discover the natural offerings on our route to the island's interior. Our next stop will be Furnas, located inside the caldera of a volcano. Here, we will observe its pools full of bubbling water and other natural features.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Our final stop will be at Gorreana's tea plantations to sample one of the island's famous infusions.

Finally, after 8 hours of touring, we will return to Ponta Delgada.
