Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and get on a jeep to drive to the coastal town of Vila Franca do Campo. This village is one of the most visited in Sao Miguel due to the volcanic islet visible from its port.

We'll discover nature's offerings on the route as we head to the island's interior. Our next stop will be Furnas, a town situated inside a volcano's caldera, where we'll view its pools full of bubbling water and other natural features.

Afterwards, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Our final stop will be Gorreana's tea plantations to sample one of the island's famous infusions.

Finally, after 8 hours of touring, we'll return to Ponta Delgada.
