At 9 am, we'll meet at Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral, in Ponta Delgada, and head by minibus to Lagoa das Furnas, a lagoon located in an ancient volcanic crater.

We'll hop into the kayaks and begin our tour of Lagoa das Furnas. The area features boiling water calderas, fumaroles, and Macaronesian vegetation indicative of the volcanic environment.

After two hours of kayaking, we'll go to a nearby restaurant for a lunch that includes the traditional cocido, prepared using geothermal heat. Following lunch, we will visit Terra Nostra Park, recognized as one of the most remarkable botanical gardens worldwide.

Terra Nostra hosts a variety of plants from various regions. You will have a guided tour of the park to learn about its features and biodiversity. Additionally, you can relax in Terra Nostra's thermal pool, offering a pleasant conclusion to the tour.

Finally, we will return to Ponta Delgada, concluding the tour at 4.30 pm.
