Pickup will occur at your hotel in Ponta Delgada at 9 am and we'll drive to Faial da Terra, where we'll start the hiking route.

The hike will take us through vegetation and mountains, passing by Sanguinho, an abandoned village from the '70s that has been revitalized. We will then proceed to Salto do Prego waterfall, where there will be time to enjoy the surroundings and take a dip if desired. Here, a picnic lunch will be provided, including a sandwich, cake, fruit, juice, and water.

Post-lunch, we will walk back to Faial da Terra, affording you free time to explore the old fishing harbor before boarding the bus to Nordeste.

You will experience the landscapes of green cliffs adorned with flowers that surround this town. Highlights include Ponta do Sossego and Vista dos Barcos, two viewpoints for admiring the natural beauty.

Our next stop will be the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, showcasing many waterfalls, some reaching up to 131 feet (40 meters) in height.

We will return to the starting point at around 4:30 pm.
