At the agreed time, we'll meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and embark on a sightseeing tour of the capital of Sao Miguel Island on an open-top minibus.

We'll first head towards the Portas da Cidade, one of the most iconic landmarks in Ponta Delgada. After discussing these arches, we'll move on to the neighborhood of Sao Roque to admire the facade of the church and make a brief stop at the volcanic beach of Milicias for photos.

Our next stop will be the Fort of Sao Caetano do Populo, linked to the 18th century War of the Spanish Succession. We will explain this connection and then proceed to the old town to admire the church of Sao Sebastiao.

Next, we will explore the port area of Ponta Delgada, stopping to admire two important monuments: the fort of Sao Bras and the church of Senhor Santo Cristo, one of the most visited temples by worshippers in the Azores.

The last stop will be the Padre Sena Freitas garden, where we'll share information about its namesake. After a 45-55 minutes tour, we'll conclude this sightseeing tour and return to the meeting point.
