Ponta Delgada Sightseeing Tour

Visit all the landmarks and must-see places in Ponta Delgada, the capital of Sao Miguel, on this sightseeing tour. We will meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and begin our tour of the city on an open-top minibus.

We'll first visit the Portas da Cidade, an iconic landmark, before proceeding to the neighborhood of Sao Roque to see the church facade and making a brief stop at the volcanic beach of Milicias for photos.

Next, we will stop at the Fort of Sao Caetano do Populo, connected to the 18th century War of the Spanish Succession, and then head to the old town to admire the church of Sao Sebastiao.

Continuing, we will explore the port area where we will stop at the fort of Sao Bras and the church of Senhor Santo Cristo, one of the most visited temples in the Azores.

Our last stop will be the Padre Sena Freitas garden, where we will share information about its namesake. The tour will last approximately 45-55 minutes before returning to the meeting point.
