Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada and depart for the coast of São Miguel. The route features charming fishing villages such as Ribeira Grande, where we will stop briefly, followed by a visit to the stunning Santa Iria viewpoint.

Next, we will head to Ribeira dois Caldeirões for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant to experience regional flavors.

We will then visit Nordeste, from where we can admire views of the Arnel Lighthouse from a nearby viewpoint.

Other iconic viewpoints in Nordeste include Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, before arriving at the coastal village of Povoação.

Finally, we will return to Ponta Delgada, with a stop at the scenic Salto do Cavalo viewpoint for a beautiful view of Lagoa das Furnas.
