Join this jeep adventure in Povoação and Nordeste from Ponta Delgada to learn about the first settlers of Sao Miguel!

Description

At the scheduled time, meet us at João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada. The off-road jeep adventure begins as we head to Ribeira Grande, with stops at the town center and the Santa Iria viewpoint.

We will break at either Ribeira dois Caldeirões or Miradouro da Queda da Farinha, where a local restaurant offers a typical lunch.

After lunch, we continue to the Northeast, visiting viewpoints like Miradouro da Ponta do Arnel, Ponta do Sossego, and Ponta da Madrugada, showcasing traditional Portuguese architecture and the Arnel lighthouse.

In Povoação, we stop at the Monument to the Colonists before returning to Ponta Delgada. On the return trip, we will visit the Salto do Cavalo viewpoint to view the famous Furnas Lagoon and take photos.

After this eight-hour adventure, we will return to Ponta Delgada with memories of the beautiful Azores!
