Join this jeep adventure in Povoação and Nordeste from Ponta Delgada and find out who were the first settlers of the island of Sao Miguel!

Description

At the designated time, we will meet at the meeting point on João Bosco Mota Amaral Avenue in Ponta Delgada. The off-road jeep adventure will begin as we head towards Ribeira Grande, stopping briefly at the town center and the Santa Iria viewpoint.

Next, we will take a break at either Ribeira dois Caldeirões or Miradouro da Queda da Farinha, where a local restaurant offers a typical lunch.

After lunch, the jeep journey continues to the Northeast, passing picturesque viewpoints including Miradouro da Ponta do Arnel, Ponta do Sossego, and Ponta da Madrugada. The traditional Portuguese architecture and the Arnel lighthouse will be highlighted.

We will then stop in Povoação to visit the Monument to the Colonists before heading back to Ponta Delgada. On the return trip, we will pause at the Salto do Cavalo viewpoint to admire the Furnas Lagoon and take photos.

At the end of this eight-hour adventure, we will return to Ponta Delgada, providing you with memorable experiences of the beautiful Azores!
