In this quad tour around São Miguel, we'll enjoy the lush nature of the Azores Islands in a unique, fun, and exciting route!

São Miguel Quad Tour

When you book, you can choose between a 4-hour and an 8-hour tour. In both cases, we'll meet at the chosen time at Rua Eng Alberto Rodrigues de Ponta Delgada.

4-Hour Tour

We'll set off from Ponta Delgada and head northwest to the Sete Cidades Massif, riding along the edge of this volcanic crater. Throughout the tour, we'll stop to admire the landscape, including the twin lakes of the Lagoa das Sete Cidades. At the end of the tour, we'll return south to São Miguel.

8-Hour Tour

The 8-hour tour follows the same itinerary as the 4-hour tour. After this route, we will proceed to the Baía do Silencio for a panoramic view of São Miguel and take a break for a buffet lunch in a local restaurant. We will continue to Ponta da Ferraria before heading back to São Miguel.

The 4-hour tour starts either at 8:30 am or 1:30 pm.The 8-hour tour starts at 8:30 am.

Requirements

Each quad can hold a maximum of 2 people; a pilot and a passenger, who can take turns driving if eligible.

To drive the quad, you must be over 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence in Portugal. A credit card payment deposit of 500 EUR per vehicle is required, refundable 72 hours after the tour.

Minibus Tour

If the group exceeds 8 people, the same route will be taken by minibus.
