We'll meet up at Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral and head out of Ponta Delgada, discovering the Lagoa do Fogo lagoon, a natural treasure of the Azores, known as a crater lake. Learn about the formation of this volcanic geography while admiring the breathtaking views of the lagoon and surroundings. Local authorities maintain its beauty by prohibiting construction within several kilometres.

After enjoying the viewpoints of Lagoa do Fogo, we'll continue towards the northwest of the island to see the Sete Cidades lagoon and crater, meaning "seven cities." The Lagoa das Sete Cidades lagoon features two halves, the Blue Lagoon and the Green Lagoon. We'll cross the bridge connecting both sides to appreciate the contrasting colours.

There will be a rest along the way to enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, presenting the opportunity to experience the island's cuisine. Following lunch, we will take the southwestern coastal road back to Ponta Delgada.
