Whale Watching + Vila Franca Islet Excursion

We'll meet at the designated time at the Ponta Delgada seaport, where we'll board a boat for a three-hour excursion to watch Atlantic whales and dolphins.

Ponta Delgada has extensive experience in marine wildlife protection. During the boat trip, the guide will discuss the importance of this work and provide facts about various species encountered. Expect to see dolphins and whales during this activity.

After the trip, we will return to the port for transfer to Vila Franca do Campo, where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The menu includes a starter, a fish dish, dessert, and coffee or tea.

Post-lunch, we will continue our boat trip exploring the islet of the Azores, known for its nature reserve and a volcanic crater, referred to as the Princess Ring.

We will also observe seabirds that nest on the shores of Vila Franca, recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International.

The excursion concludes with our return to the port of Ponta Delgada after a total duration of 7.5 hours.
