Boat between Pontevedra & Ons Island
Your boat to Ons Island will depart at the indicated time from the port of Pontevedra. After a journey of approximately one hour, you'll arrive at Ons, part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Once you disembark, you can enjoy the island at your leisure. A main attraction is Melide Beach, and various trails lead to the lighthouse within the island.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons Island is a protected area with a daily visitor quota. It is necessary to obtain authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to visit. In high season (from May 15th to September 15th and Easter), you must bring your own authorization for access, which we will send via email. For the rest of the year, the guide will provide it on the day of the tour.
If you cannot attend the activity, notify us at least 15 days in advance and provide the name of the absent person so that the Xunta de Galicia can remove them from the list.
Guided tour of Ons Island
From October 1 to May 14, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island, except during the 10 days of Easter season (from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday).
Return timetable
The departure time from Ons Island to Pontevedra is 7 pm. For returns on other days, please contact us. Additionally, on the following dates, the return times are:
August 31, 2024 and September 1, 2024: at 6:30 pmJuly 28, 2025 to August 3, 2025: at 6:30 pm
