Your boat to Ons Island will depart at the indicated time from the port of Pontevedra. After a journey of approximately one hour, you'll arrive at Ons, one of the oases in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. Once you disembark at the pier, you can enjoy this natural paradise at your leisure. One of the main attractions of the island is its Melide Beach, and various trails will allow you to walk to the lighthouse located in the island's interior.

Ons Island Visitors Permit

Ons Island is a protected area with a daily quota of visitors, requiring authorization from the Xunta de Galicia for access. In high season (from May 15 to September 15 and Easter), you must bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. For the rest of the year, the guide will provide it on the day of the tour. If someone cannot attend, you must give at least 15 days' notice and provide their name for removal from the list.

Guided Tour of Ons Island

From October 1 to May 14, the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of Ons Island, which is not offered during the 10 days of the Easter season, from the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday.

The departure time from Ons Island to Pontevedra is at 7 pm. For return on another day, please contact us. Note that from July 28, 2025, to August 3, 2025, the return time will be at 6:30 pm.
