In this tour of Pontevedra, we'll discover its historic centre and travel by boat to see the Christmas lights of Vigo.

Tour Details

After meeting at the designated time, we'll begin a tour around Pontevedra, a city known for its numerous international awards.

We'll embark on a guided tour of the old town of Pontevedra, exploring the cobbled streets of the Plazas de La Verdura, La Leña, La Herrería, and La Peregrina. The route includes part of the Portuguese way of the Camino de Santiago and stops at major monuments like the Iglesia de Santa María church, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Capilla de la Peregrina chapel with its unique scallop shell-shaped floor.

Next, we'll head to Moaña, a fishing village in the Ría de Vigo. Here, we’ll board a boat to Vigo, viewing the Cíes Islands and the village of Cangas during the ride.

Upon arrival, we’ll explore the historic centre of Vigo, immersing ourselves in its port-connected streets. You will receive 4 hours of free time on Calle Príncipe to enjoy the Christmas lights of Vigo, featuring trees, giant baubles, Lapland recreations, and Christmas markets.

We will reconvene at the port of Vigo to return by boat, followed by transport from Moaña to Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela, with an expected arrival between 8 and 9 hours later.
