The Puracé volcano is an excellent location for condor watching and visiting the San Juan hot springs.

Pickup is at 7:40 am from your hotel in Popayán. We will travel to the Puracé National Natural Park, situated in the central mountain range. The journey includes climbing through various indigenous villages where you can observe local agriculture and traditional practices.

By 10 am, we will reach the condor stone for an offering and enjoy condor watching from a distance of 8 metres (26 feet) for at least one hour.

Afterwards, we will proceed through the valley of the frailejones and visit the Bedón waterfall, at an altitude of 3600 metres (11811 feet). The route will also include a viewpoint of the Andulbio lagoon.

Next, we will see the Pozo de los Deseos in Danta watering place before arriving at the thermal baths of San Juan.

The tour concludes with relaxation at the thermal baths, followed by a typical lunch featuring grilled fish or meat, accompanied by rice, salad, soup, patacones, and a hot drink.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Popayán, with an expected arrival time of 6 pm.
