Day Trip to the San Agustin Archaeological Park

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Popayán at the designated time. After a 2.5-hour drive in an off-roading vehicle, we will make a pitstop in the town of Isnos for a traditional-style breakfast. Following this, we will continue our journey to the Archaeological Park of San Agustin.

Upon arrival, we'll take a tour of the archaeological site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, revealing the secrets of pre-Columbian civilizations. The park features over 500 statues carved in volcanic stone, recognized as the largest megalithic complex and the largest necropolis on the continent.

After a 4-hour guided tour, we will visit a restaurant for a meal, which includes a main course with rice, soup, or salad. Following this, we will return to Popayan.

The excursion concludes at your hotel after a total of 15 hours.
