Day Trip to the San Agustin Archaeological Park

We will pick you up at your hotel in Popayán at 5 am. After a two-hour drive, we will stop in the town of Isnos for a traditional-style breakfast before continuing to the Archaeological Park of San Agustin, a significant archaeological site in Colombia.

Upon arrival, we will take a tour of the archaeological site, exploring the secrets of pre-Columbian civilizations. The Archaeological Park of San Agustin is a World Heritage Site that features over 500 statues carved in volcanic stone, located in the upper basin of the Magdalena River, making it the largest megalithic complex and necropolis on the continent.

After the guided tour, we will visit a restaurant for a meal consisting of a main course with rice, soup, or salad. We will then return to Popayán.

The excursion concludes at your hotel at approximately 7 pm.
