Our adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Popayán at 8 am, followed by a journey northward to the Salvajina Reservoir, located within the heart of the Cauca River basin.

After a journey lasting around two and a half hours, we will arrive and start exploring the surroundings of this impressive hydroelectric facility. Our first stop will be the Salvajina waterfall, and for stunning views of the reservoir, we’ll ascend to the viewpoint for memorable photographs!

Next, we will embark on a boat excursion around the dam, offering a unique vantage point of the reservoir. A knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into its construction and its significance for the indigenous communities residing in the Cauca area.

After returning to shore, we’ll savor a traditional meal, choosing from options like fish, chicken, or grilled meat. To conclude the tour, you'll enjoy free time for swimming in the waters of the Salvajina Reservoir.

We’ll regroup at 5 pm for our return to Popayán, wrapping up the day around 7 pm.
