Pickup will be at 5 am at your hotel in Popayán for this full-day excursion.

We will head to Tierradentro, making a breakfast stop in the village of Inzá. At the park, we will explore traces from three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican. Visitors can observe the pyramids and hypogea carved into volcanic rock, with some tombs reaching a depth of 8 metres (26 feet).

The tour will include insights into the Paez people, who inhabited the area pre-colonization. After the tombs, we will see stone statues of indigenous idols and visit the museum housing excavated artifacts.

Lunch will be provided, featuring a chicken or meat dish with rice, soup, salad, 'patacones', and a drink. In the afternoon, we will visit the church of San Andrés de Pisimbalá, a colonial structure built of stone and thatch.

We will return to Popayán and drop you off at your hotel between 8 pm and 9 pm.
