Che Guevara route 3 Day Tour

We will follow in the footsteps of the revolutionary leader on his crusade through Bolivia on this 3-day tour along the Che Guevara route. You will see places like La Higuera.

Che Guevara route 3 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - Samaipata - Vallegrande

At 6:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra to start our tour. We will first head to Samaipata, where the ELN took over briefly. We will visit the Fort of Samaipata and a museum showcasing archaeological artefacts. After lunch in Vallegrande, we will visit the washing place of the hospital Nuestro Señor de Malta and the monument and museum of Che, concluding with dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Vallegrande - Pucara - La Higuera

At 7:00 am, we will have breakfast and leave for La Higuera, where Che was captured. We will travel the Che route, stopping at Pucara. Upon arrival at La Higuera, we will see the school where Che was executed on 9 October 1968, a site of local veneration. After lunch, we will return to Vallegrande.

Day 3: Vallegrande - Santa Cruz

After breakfast, we will return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving around 4:00 pm.

Tour ending in Sucre

If you wish to continue to Sucre, the first two days remain the same, with an overnight stay in Villa Serrano. On the third day, after breakfast at 8:00 am, we will head to Sucre, stopping in Tomina to see its 18th-century church and for lunch, arriving in Sucre around 2:00 pm.

The tour includes two nights' accommodation in double rooms in 2-star hotels:Vallegrande: Hotel Plaza Pueblo.Villa Serrano: Hotel Mi Tierra (for those ending in Sucre).
