Che Guevara route 3 Day Tour

We will follow in the footsteps of the revolutionary leader on his crusade through Bolivia on this 3-day tour along the Che Guevara route. You will see places like La Higuera.

Che Guevara route 3 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - Samaipata - Vallegrande

At 6:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. First, we’ll head to Samaipata, where we’ll visit the Fort of Samaipata, an important archaeological site. We will explore its constructions and observe figures sculpted on its walls.

Our tour continues in a museum with artefacts from excavations, followed by lunch in Vallegrande at a local restaurant, including a starter and a main course. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the washing place of the hospital Nuestro Señor de Malta, and the monument and museum of Che. We’ll conclude with dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Vallegrande - Pucara - La Higuera

At 7:00 am, we will have breakfast and travel to La Higuera, where Che was captured. We will stop at Pucara, mentioned in his Diary. On arrival at La Higuera, we’ll see the school where Che was imprisoned and executed on 9 October 1968. After lunch, we’ll return to Vallegrande.

Day 3: Vallegrande - Santa Cruz

After breakfast, we’ll return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving around 4:00 pm.

Tour ending in Sucre

If you wish to continue to Sucre, the itinerary for the first two days remains the same, but you will stay overnight in Villa Serrano. On the third day, we’ll leave after breakfast at 8:00 am, stopping in Tomina, and arrive in Sucre around 2:00 pm.
