On our Güembé Biocentre Day Trip, you will visit a facility focused on sheltering and protecting animals and plants, located just 15 minutes from Santa Cruz de la Sierra. This trip emphasizes environmental education and conservation efforts.

Güembé Biocentre Day Trip

Pickup from your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra will be at 10 am, followed by a brief journey to the Güembé Biocentre.

Upon arrival, you will learn about the centre's philosophy, animal welfare, and its environmental education programme. The tour includes a walk through the park to key attractions such as Monkey Island, the organic vegetable garden, the aviary, the butterfly house, and the orchid house. There will be free time for swimming in the natural pools at the biocentre.

Lunch will be provided at one of the on-site restaurants. The return to Santa Cruz is scheduled for 5 pm, when you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Self-guided tour

For those preferring a more independent visit, a self-guided tour option is available which includes hotel pickup and a 2-hour introductory talk from a local guide. You will then have the opportunity to explore the park and its natural pools and lagoons at your own pace.
