On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!
Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards Lomas de Arena Regional Park, located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. This protected area features lagoons and sandbanks.
Upon arrival, we'll tour the park's diverse landscapes, including sand dunes and forests home to monkeys, sloths, and various species of endemic birds.
After the tour, we'll have a picnic lunch and then allow free time to explore or swim in one of the lagoons. Optional activities include sandboarding or quad biking on the sand dunes reaching up to 39 ft (12 meters).
Finally, we'll return by bus to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, dropping you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
