Explore the Lomas de Arena Regional Park
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel at 8 am, as we make our way to one of Bolivia's most remarkable ecological sites, situated about 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. The Lomas de Arena Regional Park is characterized by its exquisite lagoons and sandy expanses.
Upon your arrival, you'll engage in a guided exploration of the park's diverse ecosystems, ranging from imposing sand dunes to scenic small forests, which are home to monkeys, sloths, and numerous species of native birds!
Following the tour, a delightful picnic lunch awaits, after which you will have some leisure time to either wander through the park or take a refreshing swim in one of the lagoons. For those seeking excitement, additional activities like sandboarding or quad biking on the towering dunes, reaching heights of 39 ft (12 meters), are available—perfect for the thrill-seekers!
At the end of the day, we will board our bus for the return trip to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving back at your hotel around 12 noon.
