On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!
Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards Lomas de Arena Regional Park, located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. The park features lagoons and sandbanks.
Upon arrival, we will tour the various landscapes of the park, which include sand dunes, small forests, and wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, and endemic birds.
After the tour, a picnic lunch will be provided, followed by free time to explore or swim in one of the lagoons. Additionally, you can engage in activities like sandboarding or quad biking on the sand dunes that reach heights of up to 39 ft (12 meters).
We will then return by bus to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, dropping you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
