On this excursion to the Lomas de Arena Regional Park, a protected area of Bolivia, you'll discover a spectacular landscape formed by lagoons and sand dunes!

Lomas de Arena Regional Park Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel at 8 am to head towards Lomas de Arena Regional Park, located 7.5 miles (12 km) southeast of Santa Cruz. This protected area features lagoons and sandbanks.

Upon arrival, we'll tour the park's varying landscapes, from towering sand dunes to small forests that are home to monkeys, sloths, and various species of endemic birds.

After the tour, we'll provide a picnic lunch, followed by free time to explore or swim in one of the lagoons. You can also engage in activities like sandboarding or quad biking on the sand dunes, which reach up to 39 ft (12 meters), catering to adrenaline enthusiasts.

Finally, we'll return by bus to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, arriving and dropping you off at your hotel around 12 noon.
