San José de Chiquitos & Chochís 2-Day Private Tour

Day 1

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and set off for San José de Chiquitos.

This town in eastern Bolivia is one of the most important missionary reductions established by the Jesuits during the 17th century. Once we get there, we'll take a tour of the town and visit a workshop to see local handicrafts being made.

At 12:30 pm, we'll have a typical Chiquitano lunch. We'll then visit the Mission Church of San José and its museum, showcasing examples of Hispanic religious architecture.

Our day will finish with a tour of Santa Cruz la Vieja Park, where the ruins of the first foundation of this city are located.

Day 2

We'll have breakfast at 7:30 am and drive through the Chiquitania region to Chochís.

This town, known for its scenic beauty, is a site of Bolivian Cultural and Natural Heritage. Here, we'll visit the Mariano de la Torre Sanctuary, a chapel that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.

After learning about the local culture, we'll head to the Los Hervores Spa, where you'll have 2 hours to enjoy the hot springs. Lunch will follow in the village of Roboré.

We'll then return to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, with arrival back at your hotel scheduled for 10 pm.
