San José, Santiago de Chiquitos & Chochís 3 Day Tour

Day 1: Santa Cruz - San José

At 7 am, hotel pickup in Santa Cruz de la Sierra begins our journey to the Chiquitania region. After a 3-hour drive, we reach San José de Chiquitos, an important 17th-century Jesuit missionary settlement. We'll visit the Mission Church of San José, noted for its stone façade, followed by a typical two-course lunch at 12 noon.

Post-lunch, we explore El Telar, where we learn about Chiquitano weavings and enjoy traditional charcoal tea prepared by local craftswomen. We'll then visit a viewpoint for a view of the dry forests and have coffee while observing Chiquitano rice bread preparation. Dinner is scheduled for 8 pm.

Day 2: San José - Santiago de Chiquitos - Robore

After breakfast, we leave San José for Santiago de Chiquitos to see its wooden façade missionary church. We'll hike the Tucabaca Valley's dry forests, then have lunch before heading to Robore. You have free time to enjoy the hot springs or relax with a massage and face mask. We conclude the day with dinner and rest in Santiago.

Day 3: Chochís - Santa Cruz

At 8:30 am, we have breakfast before departing for Chochís. Upon arrival, we visit the Mariano de la Torre sanctuary and the iconic Torre del Portón monument. Afterward, we start our return journey to Santa Cruz, stopping for lunch at the Brasileiro restaurant before returning to your hotel by 6 pm.
