At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start this tour of the main museums of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. By visiting these institutions, we'll learn about Bolivian art, history, and traditions.
The tour will start at the Museum of Sacred Art, located in the Metropolitan Cathedral, featuring silver pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, portraits, jewelry, and liturgical objects.
Next, we will visit the Melchor Pinto Museum, which was the residence of this activist and houses his personal archives. We will then proceed to the Independence Museum to explore this important period in Bolivia's history.
Afterwards, our visit continues at the El Altillo Museum, dedicated to regional architecture. We will then learn about the artisan tradition of Santa Cruz de la Sierra at the Arte Campo Museum, showcasing various samples of fabrics and elements related to the ethnic groups of the region.
