Santa Cruz de la Sierra Museum Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start this tour of the main museums of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. By visiting these institutions, we'll learn about Bolivian art, history, and traditions.
The tour begins at the Museum of Sacred Art in the Metropolitan Cathedral, featuring silver pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries, along with portraits, jewelry, and liturgical objects.
Next, we will visit the Melchor Pinto Museum, an art gallery housing personal archives of this activist. Following this, we'll explore the Independence Museum to learn about significant events in Bolivia's history.
Afterward, we will go to the El Altillo Museum, focused on regional architecture. Then, we will visit the Arte Campo Museum to see various samples of fabrics and other elements from local ethnic groups.
We will conclude the tour at noon at the exit of the last museum.
