Péligre Lake & Bassin Zim Tour

At 8 am, pickup is available from hotels along the Arcadins Coast and Port-au-Prince, starting a 2-hour journey to the Péligre Dam. A stop will be made at the 72-metre high wall to learn about the gravity dam on the Artibonite River and admire Péligre Lake while enjoying breakfast with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit.

The tour continues with a visit to a school in Hinche where participants can meet pupils and learn about the Haitian education system. For each reservation, 1 USD will be donated to the school.

Next, the tour proceeds to Bassin Zim to explore its caves, view indigenous engravings, and swim in the waterfall, which is believed to possess healing properties by locals.

A traditional Haitian lunch, including a main meal, dessert, and a drink, will be served at a local restaurant. The tour concludes with the return to your hotel at 6 pm.
