Saut d'Eau & Artibonite Tour

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Príncipe and board the minibus towards the north of the island.

We'll drive for 60 kilometers to the town of Saut d'Eau to visit its waterfalls. Here we'll learn about the Catholic legend of the Virgin Mary's appearance on a palm leaf and Vudu beliefs around the Erzulie goddess residing in these waters.

Next, we'll continue to the Artibonite River, essential for irrigation and Haiti's hydroelectricity supply. We'll see the Crête à Pierrot fort, site of a significant Haitian battle, and stop at Kay Mancia for a traditional lunch, including a main dish, dessert, and a drink.

Afterwards, we'll visit the Petite Rivière school to learn about Haiti's education system. For each reservation, 1 USD will be donated to the institution. We'll also visit a rice plantation and relax at a beach along the Arcadins Coast under the Caribbean sun.

The tour will conclude at your hotel by 6 pm.
