Caroni Bird Sanctuary Tour

On this tour of the Caroni Bird Sanctuary from Port of Spain, we'll visit Trinidad and Tobago's largest mangrove, home to various wildlife species.

We will pick you up from the hotel you've selected in Port of Spain and head to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. During our visit to this swampy area, we will board a boat to explore the natural wonder and its wildlife. A knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the animal behavior, especially in the late afternoon hours.

Throughout the tour, we aim to spot the elusive scarlett ibis, known for its striking red color. If we are fortunate enough, we will observe its movements among the tree branches. This bird is a significant symbol of Trinidad and Tobago.

We will also look for various animals in the treetops and on the forest floor. The guide will assist in identifying different species within the habitat, including alligators, anteaters, owls, and snakes.

After 2 hours of exploration, we will return to the hotel in Port of Spain, concluding our experience.
