Your adventure begins with a pickup from your selected hotel in Port of Spain, as we head towards the lush, swampy environment of the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. Prepare to immerse yourself in the unique flora and fauna of Trinidad and Tobago!

At the sanctuary, we'll encounter the largest mangroves in Trinidad and Tobago. Upon arrival, we will board a boat to navigate through this breathtaking habitat, as our expert guide shares insights into the wildlife behaviors typical of the late afternoon hours, along with other intriguing details.

As we explore, keep an eye out for the captivating scarlet ibis, known for its long, slender beak and vibrant red plumage. If fortune smiles upon us, we may witness its graceful flight among the canopies, showcasing why this bird is cherished as one of the national symbols of Trinidad and Tobago!

On our journey, remain vigilant for more creatures traversing the treetops and forest floor. With assistance from our guide, we will identify various species camouflaged within the leaves, as well as learn about the habitats of an array of wildlife, including alligators, anteaters, owls, and snakes.

After approximately 2 hours of exploring these natural wonders, we will return to your hotel in Port of Spain, concluding this enriching experience.
