Join us for a kayaking tour through the Caroni Bird Sanctuary to experience Trinidad and Tobago's largest mangrove.

Kayaking Tour in the Caroni Bird Sanctuary

Pickup will be from the hotel you've selected in Port of Spain to begin our kayaking trip. We will travel to the swampy area with the most extensive mangroves on the island.

After a 15-kilometer route (9.3 miles), we will arrive at our launch point, where kayaks will be ready. We will paddle through the lagoons of the Caroni Bird Sanctuary.

While paddling, you will enjoy the natural landscape, surrounded by mangroves and forest vegetation, with the sounds of the forest accompanying us.

During the kayaking route, we will observe various bird species, as well as small reptiles, anteaters, owls, and the scarlet ibis.

On the return journey, we will board a small boat that will take us back through the canals to our starting point.

After 2 hours of adventure, we will return you to your hotel, concluding the experience.
