Do you want to visit the most fascinating region of Trinidad and Tobago? If you're in Port of Spain, don't miss this day trip to Lopinot, a village full of culture, music, chocolate, nature and enigmatic legends.

Description

After picking you up from your hotel, we'll head toLopinot, in the north of Trinidad and Tobago. This village blends French and Caribbean influences.

We will first visit the Count of Lopinot's prison to learn about the estate's history and its cocoa plantations, including observing a traditional dancing celebration for cocoa to the sound of parang music.

Next, we will go to a chocolate factory that produces one of the purest cocoa chocolates on the island. Here, we will see the production process and enjoy a chocolate tasting.

We will also visit Sr. Cyril Cooper's farm, home to the longest-living tree of Lopinot, over 100 years old, important to the local community.

Lastly, we will explore the heart-shaped Martin Gomez cave to see its inhabitants, including bats, birds, and insects. Legends of apparitions in this cave will also be shared.

We will return to your hotel in Port of Spain after a total of 6 hours.
