Neapolitan Cooking Class

Join us in this Neapolitan cooking class, where we'll prepare some of the region's most delicious recipes and enjoy a guided tour of the Royal Palace of Portici.

Activity Options

During the booking process, choose between the following options, both starting at Via dell'Università in Portici, located 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from Naples. Each includes a cooking class culminating in a tasting of the dish prepared, accompanied by a glass of wine, water, and coffee.

Cooking Class (3 Hours)

After arrival, we will engage in a Neapolitan cooking workshop, providing all necessary ingredients. The dish prepared will vary seasonally, possibly including homemade gnocchi, fresh pasta, pizza, seabream with friarielli, and meatballs with Sunday-style Neapolitan sauce. Participants will enjoy their creation with wine, water, and coffee after cooking.

A diploma with the recipe will be awarded for home recreation, concluding with goodbyes.

Cooking Class + Tour of the Royal Palace of Portici (4 Hours)

This option includes a walk to the Royal Palace of Portici, one of the residences of the former Bourbon King of Naples. The experience features a guided exploration of the palace's rooms, highlighting its rich decorations and history, including the current role as part of the Faculty of Agronomy at Federico II University.

After the 1-hour tour, participants will return to the meeting point for the cooking class as described previously.
