Join us in this Neapolitan cooking class with a guided tour of the Royal Palace of Portici.

Activity Options

During the booking process, choose between two options that begin at Via dell'Università in Portici, 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) from Naples. Each option includes a cooking class culminating in a tasting of the dish, a glass of wine, water, and coffee.

These are the two options available:

Cooking Class (3 Hours)

Upon arrival, participants will engage in a Neapolitan cooking workshop, where all necessary ingredients will be provided. The dish prepared will depend on the season and may include homemade gnocchi, fresh pasta, pizza, seabream with friarielli, or meatballs with Sunday-style Neapolitan sauce. After cooking, enjoy the dish along with a glass of wine, water, and coffee. A diploma with the recipe will be awarded for recreating the dish at home. The experience concludes after the meal.

Cooking Class + Tour of the Royal Palace of Portici (4 Hours)

For this option, participants will first walk to the Royal Palace of Portici, a residence of the former Bourbon King of Naples. The hour-long guided tour will explore the palace's richly decorated rooms and discuss its history and royal family stories. It is currently home to the Faculty of Agronomy at Federico II University. Following the tour, participants will return to begin the Neapolitan cooking class.
