Neapolitan Cooking Class

Join us in this Neapolitan cooking class, where we'll prepare some of the region's most delicious recipes. You'll also get to go on a guided tour of the Royal Palace of Portici. You simply can't miss it!

Cooking Class Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Via dell'Università, 6.2 m (10 km) from Naples. A walk toward the Royal Palace of Portici, one of the residences of the Bourbon King of Naples, will begin. This experience combines history and culinary traditions.

Upon reaching the palace, we will explore its rooms, admiring the decorations and learning about the history and anecdotes of the royal family that resided here. Notably, it houses the Agronomy Faculty of the University of Naples Federico II.

After the 2-hour guided tour, we will return to the starting point to commence our Neapolitan cooking class. We will kick off the session with a welcome glass of Prosecco. Then, we’ll roll up our sleeves for the cooking session, using all necessary ingredients provided.

The dish we prepare will vary with the season and may include homemade gnocchi, fresh pasta, pizza, seabream with friarielli, meatballs with Sunday-style Neapolitan sauce, among others. Enjoy a delightful cooking and learning experience!

After cooking, we’ll savor our dish paired with a glass of wine, water, and Neapolitan coffee. A diploma with the recipe will be awarded to recreate the meal at home. This flavorful experience lasts 4.5 to 5 hours.
