Algarve 4x4 Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Alvor and the surrounding areas and get into the 4x4 jeep that will take us to the Southern region of Portugal, the Algarve!

On our trip, we will admire creeks, hills, valleys, and clearings situated in the area of Monchique. The route will continue through different trails and unpaved roads that will lead us to the most remote and breathtaking sites in the countryside of the Algarve.

Our following destination will be a distillery near Monchique, where we'll learn how medronho is made. We will also taste and savor this refreshing and sweet liquor made from strawberry trees. Here at the distillery, we will learn about the honey-making process as well.

Next stop? A local restaurant where we'll enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch. Our tasting menu will include different specialties from the Algarve region, known for a cuisine that combines traditional Mediterranean and Arabian recipes resulting in a delicious fusion.

After lunch, we'll continue our ride to further explore the Algarve areas closer to Alvor, and finally, at 4 pm we will head back to your hotel.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Lagos, Alvor, Portimão, Cavoeiro, Armaçao de Pêra, Galé, Albufeira, Vilamoura and Quarteira between 8:50 am and 9:40 am.
